Terms of Service

Welcome to SnapJig. By downloading, installing, or using the SnapJig application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

SnapJig is operated by Life on the Etch LLC ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of the App, including all features, content, and services provided through it. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SnapJig. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or guardian's consent.

3. Account and Guest Access

You may use SnapJig as a guest or create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Guest accounts may be converted to full accounts at any time. Progress, points, and inventory are preserved during conversion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Upload, share, or transmit content that is offensive, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Attempt to manipulate game results, points, leaderboards, or any aspect of the scoring system.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure.

5. User-Generated Content

SnapJig allows you to upload photos and create puzzles to share with others. By uploading content:

You represent that you own or have the right to use the content you upload.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the App and delivering it to intended recipients.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. We do not endorse or verify user-generated content.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its design, graphics, gameplay mechanics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Life on the Etch LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

Puzzle images sourced from third parties (such as Unsplash) remain the property of their respective creators and are used in accordance with their licensing terms.

7. In-App Purchases

SnapJig offers optional in-app purchases including points, power-ups, image credits, and premium items.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
In-app purchases are non-transferable and tied to your account.
Virtual currencies and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
We reserve the right to modify pricing, availability, and the virtual economy at any time.

8. Points and Virtual Economy

SnapJig features a points-based economy. Points are earned through gameplay and can be spent on in-app items. We reserve the right to adjust point values, earning rates, and pricing to maintain a fair and balanced experience for all players.

9. Advertisements

SnapJig may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (including Google AdMob). Ad display is subject to your consent preferences and platform settings. You may be offered optional rewarded ads in exchange for in-app benefits.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Life on the Etch LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of virtual items, or interruption of service.

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through our account deletion page. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We are not obligated to retain or return any data associated with terminated accounts.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
